Buffett Believes That the Economy Needs a Second Stimulus, Bernanke and Geithner Successful - June 24, 2009
|
Warren Buffett believes that the USA will need a second stimulus package. Buffett believes that the
country needs more what he calls "medicine." He believes that the stimulus is needed because
unemployment rate continues to increase.
Berkshire;s president on the economy said, " (it) will be a slow process...There's no telling how long it will
take. (but) It will happen."
Buffett commented that he doesn't think though that the economy has not really got going yet. Bernanke
did compliment Bernanke and Geithner for getting the economy in the best shape and commented that
he believes Bernanke is the best man for the job.
Yet, he still believes that the economy is still flat based on his company's divisions, which may have
spurned some of the ideas that we need a second stimulus.
