Chart Of The Day: Index movements in February over the past 25 Years

Today’s chart of the day depicts the historical averages of each of the three indices (Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and Nasdaq). This chart gives us insight into how the market has moved historically in February and what we may expect for the rest of this month. The DJI is up nicely today, if we can maintain this bullish upside we can rival our best February, which was up over 7.5%.

Chart Of The Day: S&P 500 Performance This January.

Today we take a look at the S&P 500 and how it has performed so far this year. Of the 500 stocks, 366 were up in January for an average gain of 5.55%. The largest winner in January was NFLX, up 73.47%, where the largest loser was RRD with a -19.55% loss.
